BGX 1+3 Stage Manifold, 3/4 in NPT Inlet, Pressure Gauge, No Rinse Valve

The 105220 is a four position BGX manifold, 22.283 inches overall, with a 3/4 inch NPT inlet and 3/4 inch NPT elbow fittings. It carries a pressure gauge and no rinse valve. The full incoming stream passes through a single first stage, then divides across a three cartridge parallel bank.

One first stage, then three cartridges in parallel

After Stage 1, the full flow divides at a distribution header into 3 equal branches, one for each of 3 filter cartridges arranged in parallel in Stage 2. The 1+3 arrangement runs the full incoming stream through a single first-stage cartridge, then passes it to a bank of three cartridges running side by side. The first stage sees every gallon, so it does the initial work on the whole flow. The three-cartridge bank behind it splits what comes through, which is where the combined flow rate and capacity come from.

Typical application. Sites that want a dedicated first stage on the whole stream ahead of a higher capacity parallel bank.
